Globalization, Growth and Poverty (GGP) is an IDRC program aimed at enabling developing countries to identify combinations of domestic policies and international integration strategies to promote inclusive growth.

GGP supports the generation of evidence-based knowledge and its use in policy making, as well as the development of related individual and institutional capacities.

A clear path for small business growth 2010-04
Tax cuts and a streamlined registration process are just some of the measures that reflect a new attitude toward small and medium enterprises in Egypt. Support from IDRC and the Canadian International Development Agency, from 2000 to 2008, helped the Egyptian Ministry of Finance to pave the way for these improvements.
